Recetas Caseras

Recetas Caseras is a book of recipes collected from Peruvian cookbooks, family friends, grandparents, aunts, uncles, etc. After each recipe is a handwritten memory associated with the dish. The center of the book holds a collection of junk food and candy- the types of treats my grandmother used to buy me while out running errands over my many summers in Lima as a kid.

Minibuses De Lima

Minibuses are Lima's most popular form of public transportation. Because they are privately owned by the drivers there is no consistent branding whatsoever. Each driver uses decals or hand paints the stops onto the buses. There are assigned stops within certain zones, but no one follows them. You'll see drivers slowing down on the side of the road or highway to pick up or drop off passengers. They're super whacky, ugly, erratic and completely bizarre. These are all reasons why I love them (!!) and why I decided to make a book about them :'^)

Uyuni, Bolivia a Atacama, Chile

This small publication features a pocket of 6 images I took on a trip to southern Bolivia and northern Chile. It continues with a series of three broken accordion books with distorted versions of the images.
