Track stems from the idea of literally tracking one's self. Initially, the idea was to plan a path and write out a few words in the city. I knew that the path traveled would appear in my Google Location history. It was only after I went through almost four years worth of my location history that I found an entire alphabet, number set, some punctuation, and even a heart based on places I had already been. I took these letters and turned them into a typeface called Track. Later, I catalogued everything I did on the days elements of the alphabet were found on. I gathered addresses, photos I took, emails, texts, Facebook posts, Instagram posts, miles traveled, time spent traveling, mode of transportation etc.
